First Communion and Confirmation Times

First Holy Communion

Greetings to you All,

We are delighted to reach out to you with the finalised dates of the First Holy Communion Masses for 2020 classes! Thank you for your support, prayer and patience.
We are all looking forward to welcoming you at last in the parish church and to celebrate this long overdue occasion with you!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

– To receive the Sacrament of the First Holy Communion your child must be Baptised Roman Catholic.
– As there will be no individual First Confessions, Reconciliation will take place during the Mass.

– Strictly only two adults will be permitted with each child. Parents/guardians will be guided to seats and will sit together in a ‘pod’ of three. Please arrive at least 10 min before the Mass.

– First Holy Communion Masses will be held for each school on a class-by-class basis.

– Some resources will be shared with you in the next week through the school & parish social media to help you to prepare for the Sacrament of the First Holy Communion.

PLEASE SEE THE DATES IN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT.

– If your child/children were due to receive the First Holy Communion last year (2020), they are in the current third class groups and their Sacrament will be celebrated in July.

– If your child/children are in the current second class (2021), their First Holy Communion will be celebrated in August.

We look forward to celebrating this beautiful occasion with you and your children in the coming weeks. Please God, for all of us, it will be a beautiful celebration of Faith & Life!

Together in prayer,
